The prize

The UG prize is sponsored by the UK Heat Transfer Society and is awarded every two years at the UK Heat Transfer Conference Dinner. It consists of the following:

£250 monetary prize
A Certificate
Free admission to the UK Heat Transfer Conference
Invitation to the Heat Transfer Society Annual Dinner in March 2025

The MSc prize is sponsored by the UKNHTC and is awarded every two years at the UK Heat Transfer Conference Dinner. It consists of the following:

Free admission to the UK Heat Transfer Conference

Eligibility

UG and MSc theses submitted to UK Universities in the period between the prior and current UK Heat Transfer Conferences where the main topic is Heat Transfer will be eligible for the Prize.

Submission

Submissions for the 2024 award are now closed. Further details for the 2026 award will follow in due course.
